Every Milton where-to-eat list in one place: wings, pizza, Mexican, breakfast and coffee, burgers, sushi and Asian, desserts, bakeries and patios.

Last checked Oct. 6, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Milton eats in three places. Downtown Crabapple, around Crabapple Market and Heritage Walk, has the pubs, patios and sit-down restaurants. The shopping centers on Highway 9 north of Windward Parkway hold most of the pizza, coffee and takeout. The Windward Parkway centers at Deerfield, just west of Georgia 400, have the chains and most of the sushi. A few more sit on Birmingham Road, Providence Road and at Birmingham Crossroads.

How we made these lists. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Milton’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 6, 2026. Because OpenStreetMap misses many Milton businesses, we added places from the Georgia Department of Public Health inspection database and Crabapple Market’s dining directory. Much of Milton uses an Alpharetta mailing address, so we checked each place against the city boundary. We kept a place only where its own site gave its address, or, for places with no website or a site that would not load for us, where a 2026 state inspection record shows it operating. Every list is alphabetical. None is a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on any of them. Run a restaurant? Write to us to correct or add your entry.

The lists

Where to get wings covers eight places, from four Crabapple restaurants, including an Irish pub and a smokehouse, to a Chicago sports bar and three pizza chains on Highway 9.

Where to get pizza lists 14 places: Neapolitan pizza in Crabapple, Chicago thin crust and New York-style pizzerias on Highway 9, Indian-style toppings on Windward Parkway and four delivery chains.

Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants lists six places, from a tequila bar in Crabapple and a sit-down grill on Morris Road to two burrito counters on Windward Parkway.

Breakfast and coffee lists 14 places, including drive-thru coffee on Highway 9, a coffee roastery, a bagel shop, a bike shop cafe and a breakfast cafe on Heritage Walk.

Where to get burgers lists six places, among them a smash burger restaurant on Heritage Walk, two Crabapple pubs and The Union on Providence Road.

Sushi and Asian restaurants lists 12 Japanese, Chinese and Thai restaurants, most on Windward Parkway, with a sushi bar and a Thai restaurant in Crabapple.

Ice cream and desserts lists five shops: milkshakes in Crabapple, frozen yogurt on Highway 9, and ice cream and bundt cakes on Windward Parkway.

Bakeries lists four bakeries and bakery-cafes on Highway 9 and Windward Parkway, from bagels to party cakes.

Patios and outdoor dining lists six places whose own sites describe outdoor seating, most of them in Crabapple.

Barbecue has no list of its own yet. We confirmed three barbecue restaurants inside the city limits, ‘Cue Barbecue on Highway 9, Jim ‘N Nick’s on Windward Parkway and Smoke on the Farm in Crabapple, and a list needs at least four.

A few more sit on Birmingham Road, Providence Road and at Birmingham Crossroads.

How often are the Milton restaurant lists updated?

Every three months. The lists were last checked on Oct. 6, 2026.

Why do some Milton restaurants show an Alpharetta address?

Much of Milton uses an Alpharetta mailing address and ZIP code. We checked each place against the city boundary, so a restaurant on these lists is inside Milton even when its site says Alpharetta.
